I haven’t posted any “Dresses of the Day” for a while so it was way about time going back to featuring beautiful and outstanding dresses on a daily basis ~ just like this floor-length turquoise ruffle silk dress from Temperley London’s Fall 2008 collection.

The collection consisted of many beautifully made pieces a lot of which instantly wowed me at first sight, this “Long Dragon Dress, Pandora Belt” as it is officially named on Temperley London’s website in particular. And I’m loving EVERYTHING about the dress - from the vivid turquoise color and the contrasting wide belt to the cascading ruffles on the skirt and the sweetheart neckline, the dress is simply STUNNING. Being currently on the top of my wishlist I hope to see one of the classier celebs rocking it on a red carpet real soon.

Gladiator sandals have been all the rage this season and if you dare to take a look at this gorgeous pair below, you will understand why.

It’s not just the perfection that comes with being the footwear of the ancient Romans. Or the comfort that comes with wearing a flat shoe. It’s the colors! Mixing gold and turquoise is nothing but new, but seeing these two shades combined is pure color magic. They go so well together.

Don’t you feel like being taken somewhere to the Mediterranean Sea just by looking at these shoes? They’re like holidays for the eyes. And feet, of course.

When I was browsing MINT by Jodi Arnold’s website, I discovered an asymmetrical turquoise Grecian dress which instantly reminded me of 3.1 Phillip Lim’s lemon Grecian style dress made famous by Paris Hilton who wore that amazing dress to a taping of Letterman in January 2008.

Personally, I think the similarities between these two dresses are too many to call it a coincidence. The 3.1 Phillip Lim Silk pleated Grecian dress costs a $795 and can be bought at NET-A-PORTER in yellow and black.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any details about the turquoise MINT by Jodi Arnold Summer 2008 dress or retailers who sell it, but from what I know the prices for MINT wear are about high street level.
