Oh, Solange, you are trying so hard to get out of your sister’s shadow. Even if it includes wearing hideous footwear à la sasquatch to mess up an otherwise decent outfit, homegirl is down for the attention. Get a stylist (not your Mom!). Like seriously.

Believe it or not, but this is how Mariah Carey got dressed up to host MTV’s TRL yesterday. This is so wrong, I don’t even know where to begin.
Wearing peakaboo tops with your bra visible underneath at the age of 20 is a fashion crime, wearing the same peekaboo tops with 37 is a) desperate and b) a fashion scandal! If she wasn’t famous, I bet everyone would mistake Mariah for a skank. The pants? I’m soooooo over acid washed jeans. And what is it with that silly chain peeking out of the jeans’ pocket? That’s so 1995. And the red peep-toe platforms? Well, that’s what I call drag queen-style.
Mariah’s make up & hair however is flawless as usual. Why does she never seem to get it right with her clothes? I guess it’s about time to either kick your stylist or hire one, darling. What a shame! Mariah is such a talented and beautiful woman, but her fashion sense is very questionable to say the least.

Rachel Bilson wore a grey chemise with a black sequined skirt and a pair of black patent pumps when she was out to promote her newest flick at TRL on Tuesday.
I usually love Rachel’s sense of style, but this is plain boring. Seems like she didn’t care to doll herself up; even her make-up looks boring here.

This black Fendi Spring 2008 dress is not working on Lindsay Lohan in so many ways. It just looks wrong on her. Lindsay doesn’t have the right body shape to pull it off, and she shows way too much cleavage for a girl of her age, but that’s young Hollywood, I guess.

Mandy Moore was beautiful wearing a simple high-necked Fendi LBD. I am loving her gold-trimmed peep-toe ankle booties.

Rose McGowan wore a beautiful canary yellow dress with a bold belt from the Fendi Spring 2008 collection with red pointy pumps. A cute look for her!

Sarah Michelle Gellar opted for a gold Ports 1961 number and paired it with a large brown belt, a red python clutch, shell earrings and peep-toe slingbacks. Unfortunately, the dramatic eye make-up wasn’t working in her favor. Again, I’m absolutely in love with the earrings.
