Giuseppe Zanotti‘s Fall 2011 collection is slowly taking over my shoe dreams. Check out these stunning red satin ankle strap pumps! Impossible not to obsess over these! Love. Love. Love. And surprisingly cheap for a Zanotti shoe! Still not attainable for sad little me though! Bummer!

Leave it to Gwyneth Paltrow to constantly hitting it out of the ball park. The leggy actress attended a book signing at Williams-Sonoma yesterday looking amazing in a yellow satin Rachel Roy Spring 2009 pencil dress. Her look was finished with a Giles & Brother necklace and metallic Camilla Skovgaard heels. Love this bold bright look of Gwyneth!

The 63rd Annual Tony Awards took place yesterday and the lovely Anne Hathaway was by far the best dressed at this event. Anne wowed the crowds in an elegant black strapless Oscar De La Renta Fall 2009 dress which had a feathered voluminous skirt and sheer tulle underneath. The actress opted for a soft, almost not-there makeup and instead focussed all attention on her to-die-for red satin Casadei platform slingbacks. A sleek updo and stunning diamond earrings completed Anne’s timeless look. Gorgeous, isn’t she?

I’ve always been a fan of strappy sandals, but only dared to admire them from afar yet. With such chunky ankles as mine, it’s not easy to pull off shoes like that. So far, I just couldn’t get myself to invest hundreds of dollars in a shoe that might wear me at the end instead the other way round.
But, oh well, this sizzling pair of Alexander McQueen satin rope tie sandals in Barbie pink really make me think twice about a possible purchase. Basically, all you need are these shoes to spice up a boring black outfit. The bold splash of color will pull the focus down on your feet and distract spectators from possible faux-pas upwards. Cash out $1.100 and this screaming hot pink footwear will soon grace your lucky feet.

P.S.: How CUTE are the golden baubles and tassles?! Just what makes a girl go crazy for.

There is a distinct trend we’ve spied. A lot of the ladies in good ol’ Hollywood were storming the red carpets in beautiful satin gowns colored in the most fascinating jewel tones recently. Canary diamond, emerald green, ruby and sapphire – perfect shades for perfect red carpet moments.
In the picture above you can see a few of the celebs who were sporting the luxury look. Here’s what they were wearing:
- Brittany Snow turned heads in this stunning canary yellow Catherine Malandrino Spring 2007 dress
- Beyoncé squeezed herself in a stunning emerald green fishtail dress from the Zac Posen Resort 2008 collection.
- Rihanna was hot in pink showing massive cleavage in this racy strapless floor-length gown
- Hayden Panettiere was wearing Roberto Cavalli and clear Louis Vuitton wedges
Here is our take on satin items colored in beautiful jewel tones. Beautiful, aren’t they? Need. Credit Card. NOW!
