Whenever I see Rose Byrne strut the red carpet an aura of fragility and shyness is surrounding her. She’s like a precious porcelain doll! I think that’s why I find her and whatever she wears so very intriguing. On this occasion Rose wore an elegant eggplant Lanvin column gown which had a brooch attached to the waist. The color is royal on her! I just wish she’d smile a little more often.

As I already stated earlier Rose Byrne was my absolute favorite at the Emmy Awards yesterday. The stunning nude Valentino tulle gown was the perfect choice for the Australian actress. Perfection!
Chloë Sevigny was a close runner-up for best dressed. Her delicate Isaac Mizrahi Resort 2010 polka dot one shoulder dress was an unexpected choice, but I adore it on Chloë. Her signature red lips were the perfect finishing touch to her elegant look.
Olivia Wilde looked like an ice princess from a fairy tale in her exquisite embroidered Marchesa gown. The open back and the intricate embroideries fascinated me and Olivia worked the red carpet like a pro. Gotta love her!
I think I’ve never mentioned Sandra Oh on this blog before, but now that I’ve seen her in gold embroidered Marchesa Resort 2010 strapless column gown, it was about time. Such a great look for her!
A redhead wearing red on a red carpet? That coul’ve gone horribly wrong, but luckily it played out well in Debra Messing‘s case. Her asymmetrical red Michael Kors gown was beaded with Swarovski crystals and Debra completed her sparkling dress with stunning Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
January Jones, like Blake Lively, tends to turn to Versace when it comes to big events. And who can blame her when it works so, so well? I love the geometric bodice of the dress.

Until I saw Rose Byrne in her exquisite, embellished Valentino gown I was convinced Olivia Wilde would be my favorite at the Emmys. But the second I spotted Rose in her sparkling, voluminous dress I was in total awe. The gorgeous Aussie actress was a vision in her nude tulle gown and walked the red carpet so gracefully, it was a captivating moment. I think I have a new girl crush.

I always look forward to seeing Rose Byrne on the red carpet. She has a natural elegance to her and this elegance also reflects on her dress choices. For the screening of Adam in New York yesterday, Rose once more turned to Christian Cota and once again opted for a design from his Fall 2008 collection.
Last time she wore a maroon feathered frock. This time it was a blue textured high-necked mid-length dress with structured shoulders. Rose finished off her look with black patent Brian Atwood pumps and a silver Max Azria clutch. Such an underrated red carpet maven!
