A few weeks ago Eva Mendes flew around the world to attend the closing ceremony of the Middle East International Film Festival (MEIFF) where she sported an exquisite white one-shoulder asymmetrical gown ($3.690) from J.Mendel’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection. The actress looked absolutely stunning and completed her look with maroon beaded jewelry.

Today Victoria’s Secret angel Selita Ebanks wore the same delicate dress when she attended the A Magical Evening Gala in New York City. The tiny model looked equally gorgeous but wore her hair in an updo and decided to color-coordinate her accessories by wearing expensive diamond jewelry to go with her luxurious dress.

As much as I love Eva, this dress looks much better on Selita who gave it the elegant twist and accessories it needed. The sleek updo and clean neckline helped, too. What do you think? Eva or Selita?

Rihanna has been parading around a lot of Alexander Wang designs lately. Back in May she wore a black one shoulder dress from his Pre-Fall 2009 collection at the Studio Valbonne Club in London. The singer completed her edgy ensemble with black Giuseppe Zanotti Glitter Ankle Boots ($695).

A few days ago Nicky Hilton attended the MTV screening of Paris, Not France in Los Angeles to support her sister Paris wearing the same Alexander Wang LBD. However, Nicky glammed it up with emerald drop earrings and a pair of delicate Christian Louboutin Paola Pumps ($815).

This one’s pretty easy for me. NICKY all the way because a) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her stunning emerald green drop earrings and b) because Rihanna is really annoying me lately with her trying-too-hard-to-be-edgy attitude lately. Whom do you prefer in the LBD?

Khloe Kardashian wore one of my favorite dresses from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection when she attended the “Spring Bling” Benefit Party in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Black patent Louboutin pumps completed her look.

LaLa Vasquez was the second to wear this sexy cutout dress at the premiere of . She paired her LBD with an oversized black Alexander McQueen bow clutch and the newly coveted Alexander McQueen peep-toe zipper booties ($1.159) (previously seen on Amerie and Rihanna).

Fergie was on promo tour with The Black Eyed Peas and opted for the same Alexander Wang LBD at the launch party of their new album The E.N.D. in Paris on June 25, 2009. Her outfit was finished off with a chunky silver cuff and black Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain Swarovski Crystal Sandals ($1.745).

Even though Khloe chose the most boring shoes (no offense, Monsieur Louboutin!), I still like the dress on her best because it hugs her curves in all the right places and the sleek hair looks super sexy as well. What I also liked about Khloe’s look is that you could see the front mesh inlay which was hidden by hair in LaLa’s and Fergie’s case (shame on you, it’s the detail that stands out most!). Big fashion oops at the 2009 BET Awards yesterday! Amerie and Amber Rose wearing the same dress to the same event? Slightly embarassing I’d say.

Amerie strut the red carpet on a hot sunny day wearing a white longsleeve tunic dress from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection which she accessorized with a heavy chain necklace and black Alexander McQueen peep-toe zipper booties ($1.159).

Amber Rose posed with her boy Kanye West wearing the same Alexander Wang LWD which has a deep split back with hot pink pumps and a matching pink Alexander McQueen clutch and black sunglasses.

I much prefer Amerie in the dress as she has not only accessorized better, but the dress also sat better on her. I know that it’s almost impossible to hide a bra under a dress with an open back, but Amber should have really rather worn one. Do you agree with me?

Mini divas Demi Lovato and gal pal Selena Gomez showed paparazzi how to strike a pose at the Toronto premiere of their newest flick Princess Protection Program. Demi followed the trend of the Alexander Wang Pre-Fall 2009 corset dress which has been recently worn by Rihanna, Paris Hilton and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld. She complimented her dress with a statement necklace and a pair of equally sought-after YSL Trib Two pumps. Selena opted for a different style route and looked angelic in her exquisite Tadashi Shoji Fall 2009 asymmetrical LWD which she accessorized with satin peep-toes and stunning jewelry.

Both girls look absolutely amazing and I like both their takes on red carpet attire. Demi spiced it up while Selena went for a soft, feminine look. But which look did you like more?
