Kyra Sedgwick‘s tea rose L’Wren Scott dress wasn’t working at all for the actress. The embellishments and the extra draped fabric on the shoulder cheapened the dress in my opinion and made Kyra look like a third class beauty pagent contestant. Me no likey.
Chandra Wilson wore a black strapless taffeta gown by Pamella Roland. The boring color, the enormous, tacky floral print and the strange bunny ear-shaped bodice were what brought Chandra here on this list.
At first glance you may be surprised to see Sarah Silverman on this list as the cobalt blue color of her dress looks stunning against her pale skin. But upon closer inspection you’ll realize how the gown makes Sarah look extra wide by adding inches of fabric to her hips. Not flattering at all.
I could’ve lived with Padma Lakshmi‘s eggplant dress if it wasn’t for that hideous red floral detail on her hips. What was she thinking?
Toni Collette is a great actress, but she has yet to learn a lot in the style department. Her barbie pink Monique Lhuillier Resort 2010 gown was too sickeningly sweet for me. The dress may have worked on her with either just the color OR all the frills. Both together make Toni look like a prom queen gone overboard.
Mary-Louise Parker wouldn’t look so bad if it wasn’t for the ginormous, absolutely unneccessary bow on the hips.

Back in February, singer Carrie Underwood worked the red carpet of Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party in a black sequinned Pamella Roland Spring 2009 dress which had silver polka dots and bell-shaped sleeves. Carrie finished her look with a wild mane, big chandelier earrings, a silver clutch and matching strappy sandals.
Whitney Port seemed to like this dress as well as she has worn it yesterday to the I Love Gen Art: 15th Anniversary Benefit in New York. Whitney went minimalistic on the accessories and only added subtle jewelry to her look.
I think both women look considerably well in that dress even though I am not particularly fond of oversized polka dots. However if I had to choose a winner, I’d go for Whitney as the polka dots are enough of an attention puller and the dress doesn’t need too much accessories in my opinion. That’s why Whitney wins for me even though her brownish pumps are throwing her look off a bit. What do you think?
