Pre-Fall 2009 is upon us and we have all the designer’s best pieces collected below. Enjoy our favorite pieces.

My favorite collections of the first part are:

• Chanel Paris-Moscow - So Russian, so Coco, so luxurious! LOVE it!
• Donna Karan - I adore the origami pleating and folding, so FIERCE!
• Roberto Cavalli - Italian Chic at its best! So SEDUCING!
• J.Mendel - Just looking at the collection makes me feel instantly glamourous & luxe. MAGNIFIQUE!
• Burberry Prorsum - Nothing new, but every piece of the collection is so EXQUISITE!
• Oscar De La Renta - ELEGANT & FEMININE as always!

The collections I liked least were Calvin Klein (too much minimalism going on, everything looks bland) and Zac Posen (just not my kind of cuts & colors).

Other collections including Narciso Rodriguez and Vera Wang also fell flat for me.

As of late, it seems like actress and mother-to-be Jessica Alba has been practically everywhere in the news and on TV. Home girl had a busy schedule last week in order to promote her new supernatural thriller, “The Eye“.

And while we’re not that interested in Jessica’s movies, we rather decided to take a closer look on what she was wearing these days. Certainly NOT maternity wear, that’s for sure.

January 10, 2008 - “Glamour Magazine V-Day Luncheon”, Los Angeles

Jessica was literally glowing with happiness when she attended the 10th anniversary of the V-Day with fiancé and baby daddy Cash Warren. Jessica was wearing a sweet pink printed Christian Dior Resort 2008 chiffon dress, a lovely clutch and adorable pink peep-toe shoes.

I wonder if Jessica decided to go with the dress because of its floating nature to hide her baby bump?

January 26, 2008 - “G’Day USA: Australia Day 2008 Black Tie Gala Dinner”, New York

At the Australia Day 2008 Black Tie Gala Dinner, Jessica was simply beautiful sporting a bi-colored one-shouldered floor-length gown from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection and a black mini clutch.

Love, love, love the updo.

January 28, 2008 - “The Late Show with David Letterman”, New York

At the David Letterman late night show, Jessica was all glammed up in a racy fire-red Dior dress. She paired her look with classic pearl earrings, opaque tights and black pumps.

Again, I especially love her hair here. The sleek retro waves look damn fine!

January 29, 2008 - “MTV Total Request Live”, New York

While being in NYC, Jessica managed to stop by at MTV’s Total Request Live where she was working a cute coffee brown beaded off-the-shoulder pocket dress from Gold Hawk with opaque tights and black patent Mary Janes.

January 31, 2008 - “The Eye Premiere”, Los Angeles

At the L.A. premiere of her latest flick, Jessica decided to show off some cleavage in a midnight blue dress from the Narciso Rodriguez Pre-Fall 2008 collection. She paired her ensemble with opaque tights and black satin pumps. Again.

While I find the dress and color too boring on Jessica, I think she still pulls it off quite nicely. Pregnancy is doing a lot for Jessie.

Summary

Jessica was doing it quite right lately. She kicked off 2008 in some beautiful dresses (e.g. the black and yellow Gucci dress). Seems like pregnancy is positively influencing Jessica’s fashion choices. Well, except for the opaque tights + black pumps look which I am so tired of seeing on Jessica. Time to show off your pins, girl!
