A few weeks ago, Garcelle Beauvais strut the red carpet of Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party wearing a beautiful white strapless jersey dress from BCBG Max Azria’s Spring 2009 collection which she accessorized with a bold statement necklace and silver peep-toe heels.

Yesterday at Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration actress Arielle Kebbel was wearing the same BCBG Max Azria LWD. Arielle completed her look with a loose updo, a lovely black clutch and black peep-toe pumps.

Well, to be honest I like the dress on the runway model most, but if I had to choose between Garcelle or Arielle, I’d go with Arielle. Garcelle’s necklace just didn’t work for me and I think the dress rather suits younger women. Also, Garcelle’s legs weren’t in the best condition to show them off in such a short dress. But what do you think?

Katharine McPhee was the first to wear this emerald green Karen Zambos Vintage Couture dress at the 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute back in October 2008. The singer accessorized with gold earrings and matching bracelet and a pair of white gold D’Orsay pumps.

Garcelle Beauvais followed to wear the same dress when she attended InStyle’s 8th Annual Diamond Show 2009 a few days ago. Garcelle decided to have a bit more fun with the dress and glammed it up by adding gold jewelry, a thin gold belt with matching gold t-bar heels and a tanned leopard print clutch to her green ensemble.

It’s not an easy decision since both ladies look great in the dress. I think the dress sits better on Katharine, but the different gold hues of her jewelry and shoes clash. And though I’m not a fan of Garcelle’s leopard print clutch, I really love the contrast of her slim gold belt and the green dress.

Overall I think Garcelle wore the dress better because she chose to jazz it up and therefore gave the dress a personal touch. What do you think?
