Another stunner coming from Megan Fox! This girl finally seems to develop a sense of style that’s not bordering on tacky. I think this is also the first time I’ve seen her wear couture?
At the Moscow premiere for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Megan wore a pink strapless Armani Privé brocade dress. It was a modified version as she had the straps removed which I think was a clever choice because that way the dress had a sexier silhouette. Megan also opted out of wearing the belt which I would’ve loved to see her wear, but she probably wanted a clean and simple look. Sleek wavy curls and a pair of gorgeous gold chandelier earrings completed Megan’s sultry look. The only thing driving me mad about this otherwise breathtaking look are the burgundy Christian Louboutin “Bianca” platform pumps
. Yes, they do look amazing, but the maroon color really bites with the hot pink.

Kate Bosworth

PERFECTION! Kate Bosworth did not disappoint. The beautiful actress looked SPECTACULAR in a black Stella McCartney Fall 2009 floor-length dress. The gown had a delicate lace yoke which cut very low at the back. Sophisticated sexiness. Loved the Old Hollywood glamour styling as well! ♥

Liv Tyler strut the red carpet wearing a gorgeous blue sparkling Stella McCartney v-neck dress. Glamour never looked better!
Mary-Kate Olsen

Rating:

I feel like a hypocrite for putting Mary-Kate Olsen here because when I first saw her in her grey Christian Lacroix Fall 2007 tiered gown I kind of hated it, but after seeing some HQ shots I must say it really has grown on me. I’m not even remotely an Olsen fan, but MK owned this dress. It was bold and exquisite and she had the attitude to pull it off.

Ashley Olsen

Ashley Olsen‘s The Row white column gown may have looked simple from the front, but it was a spectacular view from behind. Ashley worked the hell out of this backless dress. She looked elegant, beautiful and sexy.
Rare to see both Olsen twins making it on a Best Dressed list together, so I’m happy both of them could shine in their very own designs.
Bee Schaffer

Rating:

Bee Schaffer brought the va va voom to THE MET. The daughter of Anna Wintour wore a sexy navy Nina Ricci Fall 2009 corseted dress which had a train of semi-sheer layers. She looked great and I liked how she opted for something totally different than her last year’s dress which was also Nina Ricci, but otherwise completely different.

Diane Kruger can do no wrong! I love her in her white embroidered Chanel Couture embroidered mini dress. She certainly knows how to bring her A-game. Nothing we haven’t already seen on Diane though.

Cate Blanchett wore this beautiful silver Giorgio Armani Fall 2007 dress on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia December 2007 issue looking very ethereal. The cover was perfection and still is one of my favorite magazine covers to date.
One year later Ciara thought it might be a good idea to wear the same dress. What’s particularly funny about her appearance is that she wore the dress to a screening of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” where Cate Blanchett plays the female lead. I wonder if Ciara knew Cate had already worn this dress and simply wanted to pay tribute to the Australian actress? Who knows.
For once we have a fashion faceoff that’s fairly easy. This dress was made for Cate Blanchett and she wears it so well. No one could outdo her here, not even the model (pictured below).

Wrapped up in a sparkling, skin-tight Cavalli dress, actress and full-time goddess Cate Blanchett graces this month’s special Icon Issue of British Harper’s Bazaar. She’s absolutely divine here, isn’t she? One more reason to love her.
Cate on fashion:
There are people out there who sculpt things on the body. I mean, you spend half an hour with Karl Lagerfeld and he’s so keyed into your current movements, and he’s always expanding himself. He gives you 20 books to read, and you’re enriched. At that kind of level, there’s a really interesting crossfertilisation (of culture) that goes on.
Cate on Hollywood:
In the film industry, there’s this real sense that it’s not just what you’re doing at the time, but it’s where it’s going to lead you. That’s antithetical to the way I think. I’ve always been much more interested in the process, rather than the outcome. It’s taken me a long time to kind of remember that these things come out and they (generate enormous) exposure.
Cate on acting:
It’s a fascinating thing to do with one’s life. It’s sort of like not having to make a choice about how one spends one’s life. You get to have so many different sets of experiences. The journey is immensely broad.
In case you were wondering, Cate is wearing this amazing golden Roberto Cavalli dress from the Fall 2007 collection which was the highlight of the show. So want to have this one!
