Second fashion faceoff for today! Yay! ANTM winner Eva Marcille arrived on the red carpet of the 40th NAACP Image Awards on February 12, 2009 looking glamourous in a beautiful blue strapless lace gown from the Fall 2009 collection by Jean Fares Couture, an up and coming Lebanese designer. Eva wore her hair in a sleek updo with stunning diamond earrings and a silver clutch.

Marisol, member of Horoscopos de Durango, was the second to wear this couture dress when she attended Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina Awards 2009 on March 26, 2009 in Florida. Marisol decided against wearing the blue silk bow and instead opted for a matching blue box clutch to finish her look.

Eva sure knows how to strike a pose. She looked way more elegant than Marisol who looked like she could have a wardrobe malfunction any moment. Eva’s sleek updo and the stunning subtle jewelry finally won me over, so Eva wins this for me. What about you? Is it Eva or Marisol for you?

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera was stunning wearing not Monique Lhuillier for once. The teal one-shouldered chiffon dress she sported at the event was from the Marchesa Spring 2008 collection. She teamed her dressed with a pair of gorgeous gold sandals.

America was by far the best dressed at this event. She’s such a beauty.

Eva Pigford opted for sexy wearing a backless silver sequin dress with dramatic hair.

Jordin Sparks was looking OK in this chocolate brown strapless floor-length dress. Boring, but very flattering for Jordin’s womanly curves.

Kate Walsh was making an extraordinary elegant appearance at this year’s NAACP Image Awards wearing an embellished one-shouldered floor-length dress. Classy!

Meagan Good

Meagan Good attended the event wearing a body-hugging bandage dress from the infamous fashion house Hervé Léger. She teamed her dress with a pair of silver strappy sandals and a red rose in her hand.

It might be Hervé Léger, but I’m just not loving this on Meagan. She should’ve put on some Spanx in order to pull off such a revealing dress. Plus, this big gap between her boobs is everything but a pleasure to look at. Did she really think this is sexy?

The only thing I like about Meagan here, is her hair. Oh, and her shoes, too.

What I love on Robin Givens here, is her amazing white strapless tulle dress with the lovely embellishments on the hemline.

What I hate is Robin’s make-up, the hair and the faces she makes when posing for the camera. Weird.

If it was not for the make-up & hair, America Ferrera definitely would’ve had to share the crown as best dressed with Robin.

For a 44-year-old, singer-turned-actress Vanessa Williams still cleans up very nice. She attended the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards in a beautiful ivory floor-length gown by Zuhair Murad. The downside of this dress is that it has only one strap, which is the only thing I don’t like about it.
