Filming for the sequel of the Sex and the City movie began officially on Tuesday and I must admit I am already excited. Patricia Field is once more on top of her game and I’m loving each of the new looks she envisioned for everyone’s favorite columnist Carrie Bradshaw.
Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out onto the streets of Manhattan looking absolutely stunning in a white Halston dress which was completed with gold accessories such as a Chanel gold metal clutch and a pair of uber-glammy Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” gold glitter pumps. Further looks included a purple pleated chiffon dress which SJP rocked with yet another pair of Louboutins as well as an 80s retro look à la Flashdance.

One question however remains unanswered: Where are the Manolos?

Despite Carrie being a Manolo girl, the quirky Ms. Bradshaw happens to flaunt a noticeable obsession for a pair of hot gladiator heels by Dior in the Sex and the City movie. The style is called “Dior Extreme Cutout Sandal“, retails for mucho dinero ($780) and was pranced by Carrie at least 6x throughout the movie.
After doing some research, we have counted 4 different styles of the Dior heel on Carrie’s foot: a brown croc version (first and last picture), brown smooth leather (second and third pic), black leather (fourth picture) and a gold embellished version which Carrie wore underneath her stunning wedding dress (fifth pic).
I can totally feel why Sarah Jessica Parker is crazy about this shoe. It’s perfection. I remember falling in love with this shoe after seeing the first candids from the movie set last year. Unfortunately, my credit card (and common sense) won’t let me buy this sweet pair of shoes so soon.
