A few days ago Becki Newton attended The Metropolitan Opera’s 125th Anniversary Gala where she made me fall in love with her beautiful emerald green sequin dress from Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring 2009 collection. Becki looked fantastic in the strapless dress which she accessorized with a black clutch and a pair of gorgeous silver YSL cage heels (♥). Love, Love, Love.

Joy Bryant was the first to wear this cute strapless dress when she attended the Matthew Williamson New York Store Opening during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on February 15, 2009. Joy wore her dress with a black cropped cardigan, tights and black boots. She accessorized with a matching black clutch and a big statement necklace.
Becki Newton opted for the same dress at the screening for “I Love You, Man” on March 6, 2009. The “Ugly Betty“-actress finished her look with a black satin blazer, a silver bracelet and matching silver strappy sandals.
Both women wear the dress well, but I slightly prefer Joy in that dress.
