At the German premiere of Couples Retreat (German title All Inclusive) Kristen Bell looked drop dead gorgeous in a bubble gum pink BCBG Max Azria Spring 2010 cut-out dress which she paired with nude Jimmy Choo Prosper sandals and a mosaic clutch by Celestina. The actress who is a Max Azria devotee slightly modified her sexy mini dress and had the grey lining removed which is a change for the better in my opinion. This cute yet sexy look works best for Kristen and I’m glad she regularly returns to this proven red carpet routine.

A few weeks ago, Garcelle Beauvais strut the red carpet of Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party wearing a beautiful white strapless jersey dress from BCBG Max Azria’s Spring 2009 collection which she accessorized with a bold statement necklace and silver peep-toe heels.

Yesterday at Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration actress Arielle Kebbel was wearing the same BCBG Max Azria LWD. Arielle completed her look with a loose updo, a lovely black clutch and black peep-toe pumps.

Well, to be honest I like the dress on the runway model most, but if I had to choose between Garcelle or Arielle, I’d go with Arielle. Garcelle’s necklace just didn’t work for me and I think the dress rather suits younger women. Also, Garcelle’s legs weren’t in the best condition to show them off in such a short dress. But what do you think?

BCBG Max Azria Spring 2009

For the BCBG Max Azria Spring 2009 collection we had a lot of super sexy yet wearable draped dresses oozing modern elegance. Azria’s favorite fabrics – silk and jersey – were heavily used on the minimalistic dresses as well as on the occasional jumpsuit or romper. Plunging necklines, feminine waists, high slits left the folks in the front row astounded. There were a few splashes of bright color like royal blue, raspberry, tangerine and petrol, but the collection’s main color theme was rather dark and muted.

A big plus goes out to Azria for creating a very wearable collection, but I had very mixed feeling about a lot of the outfits, so 3 1/2 stars from me.

My absolute favorite items are the grey draped dress below in the middle and the floaty rasbperry one-shouldered dress down the page which has this odd Versace feel to it.
