A few days ago one of our readers, Corrine, mailed us with a request to identify Miranda Kerr‘s gorgeous nude peep-toe pumps which the model has been sporting lately.
I was hoping you would be able to help identify this pair of nude open toe pumps that Miranda Kerr has on. I’m in love with the versatility of it, and of course, the color is great at elongating legs!
I’ve searched everywhere, high and low, and still the search is futile. I love how the sole is a separate piece of the shoe and if you look closely enough, there are stitches running on the outer edges of the sole. I don’t know who else to turn to except you!!
Please, please help me identify them and you’ll really make my month 🙂
Clever decision to mail us for this shoe id, Corrine! The good news is that I instantly recognized the pumps by the prominent stitching detail on the platform. They’re Miu Miu. Yup!
Miu Miu Whipstitch Patent Pumps
Miu Miu A-Line Pump
($650, SOLD OUT)
The bad news is that they USED to be available at Barney’s online, but are sold out by now since they were part of the Spring 2009 collection. In the unlikely event that you have very small feet (US 5, to be exact), you can purchase the slingback version for $459.90 on sale at MyTheresa:
Miu Miu Whipstitch Nude Patent Slingback Pumps
If the slingbacks aren’t your size, you could alternatively try to ring up Barney’s and who knows, maybe you find them on sale in stores? I tried my best to find a few budget-friendly alternatives for you. Neither of these shoes is a match to the originals, but they are great on their own and a bunch cheaper, too. Good luck finding the Miu Mius, Corrine!
