After seeing Oscar De La Renta‘s great Resort 2009 collection, I was so inspired by all the great colors he used that I’ve created a look on my own based on the colors mustard and tangerine which were heavily present in De La Renta‘s collection.

Here are my favourite looks from the Resort 2009 shows of Chanel, Christian Dior, Oscar De La Renta and Fendi.
Chanel – Resort 2009

Quintessential Chanel. My favourite look is #2, I especially ♥ the chequered shoes.

Christian Dior – Resort 2009

Galliano’s 2009 Resort collection was as you might have expected – a colorful 58-piece collection with a clear sixties oriented theme.
We had ice cream colors all the way: from fuchsias and corals to limes and yellows nearly every rainbow color had its own place to shine.

Gladiator sandals have been all the rage this season and if you dare to take a look at this gorgeous pair below, you will understand why.
It’s not just the perfection that comes with being the footwear of the ancient Romans. Or the comfort that comes with wearing a flat shoe. It’s the colors! Mixing gold and turquoise is nothing but new, but seeing these two shades combined is pure color magic. They go so well together.
Don’t you feel like being taken somewhere to the Mediterranean Sea just by looking at these shoes? They’re like holidays for the eyes. And feet, of course.

British songstress Sophie Ellis-Bextor made quite an appearance at the Dom Perignon Party in London yesterday. She was wearing a beautiful white round neck satin blouse, a black skirt and a pair of gorgeous must-have double-trimmed nude pumps. We really loved her elegant monochrome ensemble, so here’s our budget-friendly take on Sophie’s look. Like it?
