Sarah Jessica Parker – “Sex and the City 2″ First Looks

Filming for the sequel of the Sex and the City movie began officially on Tuesday and I must admit I am already excited. Patricia Field is once more on top of her game and I’m loving each of the new looks she envisioned for everyone’s favorite columnist Carrie Bradshaw.

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out onto the streets of Manhattan looking absolutely stunning in a white Halston dress which was completed with gold accessories such as a Chanel gold metal clutch and a pair of uber-glammy Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” gold glitter pumps. Further looks included a purple pleated chiffon dress which SJP rocked with yet another pair of Louboutins as well as an 80s retro look Ã la Flashdance.

Jordin Sparks, Lindsay Lohan & Paris Hilton – Bebe Lovers?

I noticed a certain trend on the red carpet lately. Celebrities like Jordin Sparks, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are more and more stepping away from their usual, steep high fashion items in favor of more budget-friendly, accessible high street stuff. Case in point: Bebe.

Jordin has been spotted wearing Bebe several times already, but seeing her in a $139 satin dress at such an important red carpet outing as the Teen Choice Awards was quite a surprise. The same can be applied to LiLo and Paris who wore a Balmain inspired sequin mini dress to a Maxim event a few days ago.

The question resulting from this is: are celebrities finally affected by the economical crisis just as the rest of us or could it be that Bebe is quite the secret fashion tip among celebs nowadays? Up to you to decide.

Paris Hilton vs. Rachel Bilson – Who Wore Bilingual Better?

Paris Hilton was the first to sport this awesomely cute peacock print dress by Bilingual back in June. The socialite is always all about matching accessories, so it’s no surprise she added loads of blue accessories to complete her look. She decided to do a bit of promo for herself and added gold sequin pumps ($73.60) from her own shoe line to her red carpet attire.

Rachel Bilson followed to wear this dress recently when she was visiting a friend’s house in LA. Rachel wore her trademark black wayfarer sunnies, her beloved green vintage bag and black Trove Tkees flip-flops ($44).

Paris Hilton could’ve won this competition, but she went overboard with accessories as usual and hence ruined her chances of ruling Rachel out. If she would’ve ditched the matchy-matchy jewelry and matched her bag to her shoes, she would’ve looked great, but the black handbag and the accessories overkill cost her the win. Rachel on the other hand was drop dead gorgeous and I liked how she styled the dress casually. So, RACHEL all the way. Do you agree?

Vanessa Hudgens vs. Eva Amurri – Who Wore Myne Better?

Back in April, Vanessa Hudgens has been spotted out & about in Hollywood looking casually chic in a pink floral Myne skirt which she wore with a black tank top, a pair of green-tinted Ray-Bans, a black fringed Antik Batik bag and strappy Dolce Vita flats (more infos on Vanessa’s outfit can be found here). Her stunning Diane von Furstenberg gold pendant necklace was the icing on the cake. Definitely one of my favorite Vanessa off-duty outfits.

Eva Amurri opted for the same floral skirt when she attended a special screeening for Adam in New York. The actress paired her tulip skirt with a matching pink top and grey patent Aldo pumps.

This one’s pretty easy for me. Vanessa looked absolutely fabulous and I loved each item of her casual yet feminine outfit. As much as I try to like it on Eva, I just can’t get over the grey pumps and the matchy-matchy pink top. What about you? Who’s you favorite?

Celebrity Look of the Day – Hayden Panettiere in Elizabeth and James

Hayden Panettiere knocked me out today when I saw pictures of her heading to the MTV Studios in New York to promote her new movie I Love You, Beth Cooper at the Itâ€™s On With Alexa Chung show. The young actress looked head-to-toe perfect in a nude colored Elizabeth and James longsleeve mini dress which she accessorized with a purple Nancy Gonzalez croc clutch, a pair of Joan Hornig gold earrings and kickass black Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe booties.

I really ADORE this look on Hayden as she looks so fresh AND sexy in it (two attributes not being easily achieved simultaneously). The color of the dress stands for femininity while the length makes it sexy. The black booties give Hayden’s look a bit of an edge and the purple clutch brings some funk into the game. Gorgeous! This must be one of Hayden’s best looks EVER! Love it.

Back in January, Vanessa Hudgens enjoyed the sunny weather with gal pal Brittany Snow and boyfriend Zac Efron wearing a beautiful floral dress by Free People. Vanessa’s beloved grey suede JJ Winters fringe bag ($425) completed her summery look.

Last week BFF Ashley Tisdale wore the same Free People flowery dress with a navy oversized cardi, black wayfarers and tan flip-flops. Ashley also showed off her new $2.000 Givenchy Nightingale bag.

I wonder if it’s literally the same dress both of the girls are wearing? What do you think? The dress looks cute on both, but I slightly prefer it on Vanessa because Ashley’s navy cardigan didn’t really match to her dress. She should’ve gone with a lighter color. But tell me, who’s your favorite?

This faux denim leather jacket ($1.495) from Alexander Wang’s Spring 2009 collection must be the most coveted item in Hollywood right now. Everyone has been seen wearing it lately. But who wore it best?

I’m not into that suede jacket to begin with, but if I had to choose a winner, my vote would definitely go to Rihanna because the jacket fits in best with the rest of her badass getup (her Balmain stilettos earn her some extra points!).

I also like the jacket on Lindsay and Blake, the rest is rather nay than yay. Kelly’s white bag is totally off while Dasha’s outfit is way too tamed and too plain for such a statement item. Wearing that jacket under a white floor-length jersey dress with the most awful bleached hair EVER is fashion suicide. Christina Milian is in need of some serious style lessons.

How gorgeous is Courteney Cox here? The raven-haired actress was papped while she was on set filming scenes for her new TV show “Cougar Town“. Anne Hathaway was the first to wear a gorgeous beige Stella McCartney military coat when she was out and about in New York on January 5th, 2009 promoting her new movie Bride Wars. Anne wore the coat twice that day, before and after the taping of “The Early Show“.

Jennifer Connelly followed to wear the same coat while shooting a commercial for Revlon on January 23rd, 2009. The actress wore the coat with black pants and a black large tote.

Victoria Beckham wore the same coat in a darker color back in November 2008.
