I know Hilary Rhoda is a supermodel and hence supposed to look fantastic in beautiful dresses, but I can’t help but be in awe upon seeing her in this white Carolina Herrera Spring 2009 gown which she wore to the 69th Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala in New York 2 days ago.
The exquisite dress had ruffles cascading down the front and black embroideries on the waist and on the straps. No need to add any more bling when you have such a gorgeous face as Hilary! Envious? Me? NEVER!

Miley Cyrus was the first to strut the red carpet in this Marchesa Spring 2009 strapless dress at the 2008 American Music Awards back in November 2008. The beautiful dress had a black chiffon overlay which was draped half over the gold embellished bodice and skirt. Miley completed her glamourous look with black satin Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and hair tied up in a loose updo.
If you’re familiar with Georgina Chapman then you’re probably not surprised to see her re-wearing that dress as she is continously promoting her brand by donning her own designs to every major red carpet event such as the Quintessentially Party For “Nowhere Boy” during the Cannes Film Festival which she and her husband Harvey Weinstein attended yesterday. Georgina wore a lengthened version of the strapless dress and accessorized with a Chanel bag and black t-bar pumps.
I’m surprised to find myself preferring Miley in this dress. Georgina’s version lost half of its appeal because of the modified length and I also like that Miley styled her hair into an updo. The bare neckline gave her a more defined silhouette. Who’s side are you on?

Wowza! This is the first time since the beginning of this year’s Cannes Film Festival that I was really, really amazed. The gorgeous Rachel Weisz totally blew me away in her emerald green Valentino Fall 2009 ombré strapless dress which she wore to the Agora Premiere yesterday.
Rachel looked beyond perfection with her dark locks swept to one side while showing off her stunning earrings. Rachel’s look was finished off with a gold clutch and matching Christian Louboutin satin d’Orsay pumps. (♥ ♥ ♥)
Rachel more than rehabilitated herself from her Costume Institute Gala disaster earlier this year and I am more than thankful for this because now I don’t have to drop her from my fashion favorites list. And is it just me or does Rachel look a lot like Monica Bellucci here?

A few weeks ago, Garcelle Beauvais strut the red carpet of Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party wearing a beautiful white strapless jersey dress from BCBG Max Azria’s Spring 2009 collection which she accessorized with a bold statement necklace and silver peep-toe heels.
Yesterday at Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration actress Arielle Kebbel was wearing the same BCBG Max Azria LWD. Arielle completed her look with a loose updo, a lovely black clutch and black peep-toe pumps.
Well, to be honest I like the dress on the runway model most, but if I had to choose between Garcelle or Arielle, I’d go with Arielle. Garcelle’s necklace just didn’t work for me and I think the dress rather suits younger women. Also, Garcelle’s legs weren’t in the best condition to show them off in such a short dress. But what do you think?

What you say? Heidi Montag is being slightly obsessed with Hervé Léger dresses? Oh please, don’t be silly. Can a woman not wear 6 7 $2.000 dresses within 7 months just because she likes it? I bet she can stop whenever she wants. If she wants. But she clearly doesn’t, so you better get used to it.

EDIT: OK, seriously is this coincidence or what? Just when I wrote about how Heidi Montag is all obsessed with Hervé Léger dresses, she goes and knocks it out by wearing yet another Hervé Léger on the very same day? Strike the obsessed and make it addicted.
