Rachel McAdams vs. Nicole Kidman – Who Wore Collette Dinnigan Better?

Last week Rachel McAdams arrived at the German photocall for “The Vow” looking drop dead gorgeous in a delicate blush and black off-the-shoulder lace dress from Collette Dinnigan’s Spring 2012 collection which she paired with classic suede pumps and flawless hair & makeup.

Last night Nicole Kidman wore the same dress to the 2012 Australian Academy Of Cinema And Television Arts Awards. Silver strappy sandals and a diamond bracelet completed Nicole’s look.

No competition here, Rachel wins this by a landslide. The dress suits her skintone much better than Nicole’s, she made a better shoe choice and generally looked more put together than Nicole. Do you agree?

My favorite actress wearing my favorite designer! Oh, how I love Cate Blanchett for continously wearing the ethereal designs of Alexander McQueen. Cate looked absolutely divine in a black v-neck split sleeve gown from the outstanding Resort 2012 collection which she wore to the Van Cleef & Arpels store opening in Hong Kong. It was by far my favorite dress from the collection and I was overjoyed to see Cate wearing it with such elegance. It’s like she was made to wear Alexander McQueen! (♥ ♥ ♥)

Kristen Stewart vs. Christina Aguilera – Who Wore Valentino Better?

Last year in October actress Kristen Stewart attended a screening of “Welcome To The Rileys” wearing a one shoulder lace dress by Valentino with black satin Brian Atwood pumps and crimson red lips.

Yesterday Christina Aguilera opted to wear the same Valentino dress when she walked the red carpet for the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert which she paired with Christian Louboutin platform pumps and her signature red lips.

Even though I’m not a fan of Kristen Stewart’s red carpet attitude I still prefer the Valentino frock on her than on Christina. Obviously because KStew is in better shape and also because I’m growing tired of Christina’s never changing hairstyle and makeup (which always is too much of in her face). What do you think?

Kim Kardashian vs. Kate Walsh – Who Wore Antonio Berardi Better?

A few weeks ago Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno looking drop dead gorgeous in a figure-hugging forest green pencil dress by Antonio Berardi which she paired with kickass Christian Louboutin “Lady Daf” python platform pumps.

Kate Walsh wore the same Antonio Berardi dress when she attended the one-year anniversary of the BP Macondo Deepwater Horizon oil spill on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, a few days ago. Kate accessorized her dress with nude kitten slingbacks and sunnies that matched her flaming red hair.

This one’s pretty tough because the dress is absolutely amazing and looks great on both ladies. I do prefer Kim’s bold shoe choice, but I’m also a sucker for green on redheads. However, as a shoe fanatic this fashion faceoff will be decided by who’s wearing the better shoes which is Kim obviously, so she wins for me. But what do you think?

Leave it to Gwyneth Paltrow to constantly hitting it out of the ball park. The leggy actress attended a book signing at Williams-Sonoma yesterday looking amazing in a yellow satin Rachel Roy Spring 2009 pencil dress. Her look was finished with a Giles & Brother necklace and metallic Camilla Skovgaard heels. Love this bold bright look of Gwyneth!

I’ve always been a huge fan of model Hilary Rhoda ever since I first saw her in an Estee Lauder magazine ad. She is such a beautiful woman! She looks so healthy & radiant and when dressing for red carpet events I like that she always has a soft, feminine side about her that I miss on so many other models these days. Which of Hilary’s red carpet looks is your favorite? I can’t decide between #1, #2 and #5.

Tyra Banks vs. Kim Kardashian – Who Wore Rachel Roy Better?

Tyra Banks attended the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards back in August 2009 where she wore a beautiful, sleek coral one shoulder dress ($1.495) from Rachel Roy’s Resort 2010 collection. The TV host & ex-now-back-again supermodel finished her look with pointy suede pumps and a matching nude clutch.

Kim Kardashian sported the same Rachel Roy dress at the 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards a few days ago. Much like Tyra, Kim accentuated her coral frock with nude accessories such as her Christian Louboutin Alti platform pumps and a multi-colored Louboutin Talita clutch.

As much as I like Kim’s new sophisticated style, I prefer this Grecian-inspired dress on Tyra’s statuesque frame. I think the dress might have worked better on Kim if she’d shortened it to end just below her knees. What do you think?

Cameron Diaz in Oscar De La Renta wowed me almost just as much as Zoe did in Givenchy. If it weren’t for the slightly blah-ish golden color. The beading on her OdLR Fall 2010 strapless gown is exquisite, but they almost get lost on this dusty golden shade. Too bad. But since Cameron is a seasoned red carpet pro, she still worked her gown to perfection. Also love the red lips!

Zoe Saldana, you made me not regret staying up late to watch the Oscars! OMG! Doesn’t she look absolutely spectacular? You know I love me some purple and dear God Zoe totally knocked it out of the ballpark. Her strapless ruffled Givenchy Couture gown was risquÃ© yet timeless and Zoe’s smile is the best accessory to compliment her stunning jeweled dress. Definitely a strong contender for Best Dressed. Let’s see if someone can outdo Zoe in the style department.
