I’m not always fond of Mischa Barton fashion choices, but in May 2007, when she was attending Cinema Against AIDS 2007 Benefiting amfAR in Cannes, Mischa was pure high class glamour in a stunning monochrome gown from Dior’s Fall 2007 collection.

Mischa wore her hair pulled back and decided to go with a bare neck to give the dress space to dazzle. She accessorized with gorgeous sapphire diamond drop earrings, a diamond bracelet and a black clutch. Her make-up was flawless as usual, I especially love the Va Va Voom eyes and the red lips.

Leighton Meester wowed me away by wearing a grey Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2008 dress with cute puff sleeves and asymmetrical stitching all over. She wore the dress with a pair of patent blue Sergio Rossi pumps which had cut-out detail at the side.

Oh, I just love, looooooooooove this dress, it’s gorgeous and Leighton totally rocks it, way more than the model below. When is NET-A-PORTER going to get this one in stock? This dress is #1 on my wish list now.

Anne Hathaway was the first to wear this stunning Jasmine Di Milo Fall 2008 dress with overlapping skirt and puff sleeves to a screening of her latest flick Get Smart in NYC on June, 19. Anne accessorized her black dress with red oversized sunnies, red earrings and a pair of leopard printed Brian Atwood heels.

Actress Anna Walton wore the same dress in steel blue to the Hellboy II: The Golden Army premiere on June, 28, with dark red peep-toe pumps and matching red lips.

Both ladies decided against the red belt which was originally worn with the dress on the runway though both had red accessories. Going without the belt was a decision for the better as the red belt would’ve taken away from the dress.

Personally, it’s hard to choose my favorite because both women look absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in that dress. But if I had to be really strict about it, I’d go with Anna because of her shoe choice and the striking red lips.

Bar Rafaeli looks stunning wearing Alberta Ferreti. But would you expect anything less from a supermodel like her?

Bar sure knows how to strike that sexy over-the-shoulder pose. Leo must be a lucky man.

Cate Blanchett was the epitome of glamour in this blush Armani Privé Spring 2008 Couture ruffled silk gown accessorized with Chopard gems.

No one could live up to Cate’s perfection, she was by far the best dressed on the red carpet making the rest of the ladies look like absolute fashion rookies. Red Carpet Gold Star Award totally deserved. ♥ ♥ ♥

Devon Aoki is also wearing Alberta Ferretti. The ombré silver sequined strapless dress looks great, but Devon somehow does not wear it with the confidence needed to pull it off.

The hair is another no-no for me, that hairdo is so pageant/prom cliché.

Eva Longoria looks flawless as usual wearing a gorgeous azure Versace Spring 2008 Couture dress which she complimented with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

I love the dress and the color is simply stunning, but I don’t think the dress works towards Eva’s body type. I prefer seeing Eva in cocktail-type frocks.

Julianne Moore

Blindness actress Julianne Moore went for big drama in a canary yellow Christian Lacroix Spring 2008 Couture gown. Unfortunately, the risk didn’t pay off. There’s too much going on on the dress. The black and yellow feathered detail is the worst thing about it. It reminds me of stuffed animals being pinned to her shoulders.

But to be fair, I think no one could’ve done that dress justice. At least not on the red carpet. This dress was made for catwalks and editorial photoshoots.

Julianne’s accessories however were exquisite. The actress finalized her risqué ensemble with a black Bottega Veneta knot clutch and beautiful Chopard diamonds.

Mischa Barton walked the red carpet in a midnight blue Alberta Ferretti Fall 2008 gown and a Chopard diamond necklace. The one-shouldered dress was a decent choice, but nothing overly spectacular.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman was a serious breath-taker in her purple Lanvin Spring 2008 ruffled cocktail dress. She accessorized her dress with diamonds from Tiffany & Co, a black belt, round black patent pumps, a black XL clutch and black nail polish.

I’m not too fond of the dress per se, but I am totally smitten with the striking color and Natalie just pulls it off with her radiating beauty. Plus, I’m loving her hair ♥
