Time for a shoe battle. And this one’s a battle between shoe giants! It’s rather seldom to see a high fashion label copying from another high fashion label, but it happens occasionally as in this case. There’s no denying one or the other has been “inspired“, but the question is – WHO?
Personally I prefer the Jimmy Choos because of the heel (you all know much I love an iridiscent high heel), but that doesn’t neccessarily mean that he was the first to come up with the concept for this shoe. Hard to choose. What do you think?

Sometimes it’s so easy to forget that Christian Louboutin makes some of the finest shoes in this world. You almost expect great work from him and take his creativity and mastermind for granted.
When I browsed his recent works however I quickly remembered that Monsieur Louboutin truly is a master of his art. And I one of his most devoted fans. Thanks for your love and compassion, Christian! Women owe you a lot. You bring elegance and beauty in our everyday life.

For our first edition of “Battle of the Shoes” we decided to line up two hypnotizing candidates: Brian Atwood’s Margie peep-toes
and Jimmy Choo’s Panama sandals
. Both pairs are statement shoes which have this incredibly beautiful iridescent effect I find ridiculously attracting. What I find even more attractive is that both are currently on SALE at NET-A-PORTER! Woot woot!

IMPORTANT: When considered to be worn out in the public, please keep in mind that these shoes deserve your outfit’s sole attention and hence shall NOT be paired with other shiny, prominent items or you’ll end up being mistaken for Disco Stu or… Lady GaGa.
