Amerie vs. Amber Rose – Who wore Alexander Wang Better?
Big fashion oops at the 2009 BET Awards yesterday! Amerie and Amber Rose wearing the same dress to the same event? Slightly embarassing I’d say.
Amerie strut the red carpet on a hot sunny day wearing a white longsleeve tunic dress from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection which she accessorized with a heavy chain necklace and black Alexander McQueen peep-toe zipper booties ($1.159).
Amber Rose posed with her boy Kanye West wearing the same Alexander Wang LWD which has a deep split back with hot pink pumps and a matching pink Alexander McQueen clutch and black sunglasses.
I much prefer Amerie in the dress as she has not only accessorized better, but the dress also sat better on her. I know that it’s almost impossible to hide a bra under a dress with an open back, but Amber should have really rather worn one. Do you agree with me?

Amber for me. Amerie with the long hair, the cake make-up , I don’t really dig it. Also Amber wore better accessories imo.
It’s a really nice vs, cause they both look really different and sport really different accessories, you wouldn’t believe they have the same dress.

you’re right about Amerie’s make-up. I’m not so into it either, but I adore her dark long hair (personal preference I guess).
I like that Amerie tried to accessorize her outfit with edgy items, Amber rather opted for something funky which is also okay with me, but as I said I just liked how much better the dress sat on Amerie.

I love the dress on Amerie. She has the curves that allow the dress to hug her. The accessories are well chosen even though i would have never think of teaming this type of dress with a chunky necklace and boots. Well done Amerie. AMBER where did she leave her bra.It is understood that if you dont ahev big breasts you do not wear a bra but when you where a dress in this type of fabric, you have to- open back or no!!
They both are wearing it better than that anorexic model.
