Amber Tamblyn attended the Whitney Museum Annual Art Party and Auction in New York a few weeks ago looking chic in a monochrome Alice + Olivia colorblock dress which she accessorized with black sheer tights, black patent pumps and a matching black clutch.

Khloe Kardashian wore the same two-tone dress at the Three-O Bubble Vodka Launch Party in New York 2 days ago. Khloe opted out of wearing the belt with the dress and instead jazzed it up with a pair of enviable black Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe booties ($999).

I like that both women went with a bare neckline and didn’t overaccessorize the dress. Amber styled it in an elegant way while Khloe went the funky route. However there are things I dislike about both looks. Amber would have looked so much better without the black tights and Khloe should’ve worn the belt as it would have given her a more defined silhouette. In the end I prefer Amber over Khloe. What about you?
