Amy Adams is on a red carpet roll this week. Premiere after premiere she sports one gorgeous dress after another. For the New York premiere Amy chose an asymmetrical pansy print gown from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2010 collection. Doesn’t she look stunning? Amy would’ve scored a Red Carpet Gold Star for this red carpet look if it wasn’t for the garish pansy print which I find a bit much.

I haven’t awarded a Red Carpet Gold Star for quite some time now. While there were many red carpet appearance that I liked or even loved, none of them really made me go WOW! – the little extra something was always missing. Penélope Cruz however REALLY stunned me today and rightfully deserves to be crowned. The Spanish actress attended the London premiere of Broken Embraces looking ravishing in red in a double-breasted red Bottega Veneta Resort 2010 suit. You know you love it when you can’t stop staring.

What impressed me even more about Penélope’s look is that she could’ve easily called one of her designer friends and choose a $10k couture gown, but instead she opted for this almost casual suit and _still_ knocked it all out of the fashion ball park. Her grace and attitude were what made this look outstanding. Te Quiero, Penélope!

P.S.: Love the shoes as well (and that’s coming from a girl who usually hates everyting t-strap).

Back in April, Vanessa Hudgens has been spotted out & about in Hollywood looking casually chic in a pink floral Myne skirt which she wore with a black tank top, a pair of green-tinted Ray-Bans, a black fringed Antik Batik bag and strappy Dolce Vita flats (more infos on Vanessa’s outfit can be found here). Her stunning Diane von Furstenberg gold pendant necklace was the icing on the cake. Definitely one of my favorite Vanessa off-duty outfits.

Eva Amurri opted for the same floral skirt when she attended a special screeening for Adam in New York. The actress paired her tulip skirt with a matching pink top and grey patent Aldo pumps.

This one’s pretty easy for me. Vanessa looked absolutely fabulous and I loved each item of her casual yet feminine outfit. As much as I try to like it on Eva, I just can’t get over the grey pumps and the matchy-matchy pink top. What about you? Who’s you favorite?

I always look forward to seeing Rose Byrne on the red carpet. She has a natural elegance to her and this elegance also reflects on her dress choices. For the screening of Adam in New York yesterday, Rose once more turned to Christian Cota and once again opted for a design from his Fall 2008 collection.

Last time she wore a maroon feathered frock. This time it was a blue textured high-necked mid-length dress with structured shoulders. Rose finished off her look with black patent Brian Atwood pumps and a silver Max Azria clutch. Such an underrated red carpet maven!
