Katy Perry wearing a Manish Arora Fall 2009 peacock print dress

Rating: ★★★★☆

I am not always a fan of Katy Perry‘s quirky fashion sense, but on this occasion at the Japanese MTV Video Music Awards, I loved her monochrome Manish Arora Fall 2009 peacock print dress. Katy opted out of overaccessorizing and therefore went for subdued nude cutout booties to let her dress be the center of attention.

This is not the first the singer wears one of Arora’s designs. At the MTV Europe Music Awards last year, Katy wore a pink carousel dress by the designer to perform on stage. His clothes sure do reflect her colorful personality well, hm?

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. – Nicole Brundage Eden Sandal

by Profashionelle on May 31, 2009 · 0 comments

Today was the first time I ever heard about Nicole Brundage, but now that I’ve seen her “Eden” leaf sandal (perfect shoe for floaty summer dresses), I know I’ll have to keep an eye on her designs. I smell more love at first sight potential.

Camilla Belle and Estelle wearing the same Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 kaleidoscope printed dress

Camilla Belle wore this grey and pink kaleidoscope printed Alexander McQueen dress back in January when she attended the LA premiere of Push. Champagne colored Jimmy Choo Poem satin sandals ($435) completed Camilla’s impeccable ensemble. Gotta love her effortless chic style!

Estelle opted for a similar McQueen dress from the same Spring 2009 collection which she wore at MoMA’s 41st Annual Party in the Garden at The Museum of Modern Art in New York yesterday. The singer opted for black peep-toe pumps to finish her outfit.

I know these two dresses aren’t the same, but since the kaleidoscope print is identical I thought I would compare both looks anyway. So which lady owns it best? I think I prefer the cut of Camilla’s dress. She also accessorized her outfit better. Do you agree?

Hilary Rhoda wearing a nude Jacques Fath strapless dress at the FiFi Awards 2009

Rating: ★★★★½

I think it’s officially safe to say that I am totally obsessed with Hilary Rhoda. This is the third time within 5 weeks that she won “Celebrity Look of the Day“. Sorry, but I can’t help it. She’s so beautiful and once again looked head-to-toe perfect, I just couldn’t pass upon her.

Hilary attended the 37th Annual FiFi Awards, the Oscars for the fragrance industry, wearing a champagne Jacques Fath strapless dress which had origami pleats on the bustier. Her standout accessories were from Erickson Beamonicon and she carried a VBH clutch. I especially adored her gorgeous chandelier earrings and her Jimmy Choo “Verity” strappy sandals. LOVE!

Kourtney Kardashian and Estelle wearing the same Matthew Williamson for H&M maxi print dress

A few days ago, Kourtney Kardashian sported a printed maxi dress from the ever popular Matthew Williamson for H&M collection when she attended the grand opening of their own store Dash in Miami. Kourtney accessorized her dress with a black wide belt, matching black clutch and pink nails.

Estelle wore the same dress yesterday when she attended the H&M And Estelle Unveil The Fashion Against AIDS Collection Launch in New York. The singer went for a more casual look and paired her H&M dress with a denim jacket and a black Chanel bag.

Being not too fond of the dress, I choose Estelle as the one who pulled it off better because Kourtney looks like she’s drowning in that dress and the deep plunge neckline doesn’t work with the cut of the dress either. What do you think?
